Program Educational Objectives
The department of Electrical Engineering was assigned the task to shift to outcome-based education system (OBE) in accordance with Washington Accord. The guidelines provided by Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) OBA manual 2014 were studied in detail and the implementation had been adopted. Course learning outcomes have been formulated. Achievement of PLOs and CLOs is accessed from the SAR report generated from LMS.
The Department of Electrical Engineering has designed following Educational Objectives for Electrical Engineering program keeping in view of Departments’ mission. The following PEOs have been defined in consultation with the Departmental Faculty Members and Industry Advisory Board (IAB). The graduates of Electrical Engineering program will have following capabilities/ skills / attributes four years after their graduation;
PEO 1: Ability to investigate and solve technical problems using engineering principals, tools, modern techniques and propose effective solutions.
PEO 2: Encourage students to participate in research-related activities and train them to manage projects and become effective members of engineering teams.
PEO3: Adopt ethical attitude and exhibit effective skills to continue their lifelong technical and professional development.
